The diligent do not let slip a benefit that comes in its time.

One overcomes suffering through energy.

One who has a task and does it diligently and fitly finds wealth.

One who is not lazy may find peace of heart.

Benefit does not rightly succeed for one who works with weariness.

Benefit rightly succeeds for one who works without weariness.

If one exerts oneself in tasks left too late, one sinks into ruin.

One who puts off till tomorrow declines; one who says ‘the day after’ declines still more.

One should make the effort today itself.
